Thanks for the minutes we received from our last meeting. I regret that our attendance did not reflect a boarder scope than it did. I was particularly concerned that "the right people" were not there to intelligentlly address the critical state of rural Texas. When our communities disappear, we will lose a quality of life factor that can't be recovered. I understand that Kevin McMahon was invited to both planning meetings and could not attend either, much to his dismay. He is an excellant resource and would be great help when it comes to proposal writing for resource people in this subject matter. Just wanted you to know about this person and his expertise in the area of community resource development/rural economic development.
