Two mobile homes (UNIT B and UNIT C) located in Crockett County outside Ozona, TX.
UNIT A
A 1996 HBOS MANUFACTURING LP single wide home with three bedrooms and two baths. Primary bedroom has a large, attached bath. Laundry is in the rear hallway of the home. Roof is a rolled rubber product. All porches convey with the home. Outdoor HVAC unit conveys with the home. New doors were installed in 2025. No appliances. Size: 16×72 and 1,116 sq. ft.
UNIT B
A 1990 Fleetwood Festival single-wide home. Home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, fireplace, and separate laundry area. Primary bedroom has a bathroom attached. Home has a metal roof. Attached decking conveys with home, front porch’s welded metal roof does not convey. Outdoor HVAC unit conveys with the home. Appliances as-is within the home. Size: 16×76 and 1,216 sq. ft.

A 1998 Fleetwood Homes of Texas Green Hill double-wide home with three bedrooms and two baths. The primary bedroom has a large, attached bathroom. Small entry laundry room, vaulted ceiling, sliding glass doors onto a deck that conveys with the home. The home has a metal roof, and all attached decking and porches convey with the home. Outdoor HVAC unit conveys with the home. Appliances as-is within the home. Size: (2) 14×56 and 1,530 sq. ft.

Visitors must check in at the main office. Upon arrival, use the sidewalk on the highway side where the statue of a sheep is located (North side of Building). Ring the doorbell located at the front entrance and we will have a representative give you further instructions at check-in.

Sale Terms and Agreement
Three mobile homes on surplus sale through sealed bid.
One mobile home (UNIT A) is located in Tom Green County outside San Angelo, TX. This home has been used up until 2024.
Two mobile homes (UNIT B and UNIT C) are located in Crockett County outside Ozona, TX. Both units have not been used since 2018.
Homes are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with NO WARRANTIES implied or expressed; equipment preview is highly recommended, and bidding without previewing is strongly discouraged.
The winning bidder will acknowledge and accept without recourse that they have purchased the above item(s) at a public auction “AS IS, WHERE IS” without warranty or guarantee of any kind. The winner agress not to stop payment, dispute, cancel, or otherwise contest the transaction. No allowance, refund,
credit or set-aside will be made.
TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS Statement of Ownership (S.O.) application required.
TX Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) moving permit, must be obtained from the party who transported the home. This permit must be included in the S.O. application.
Payment terms
Bid submission forms and required information will be received until 1:00 PM on Monday, August 31st , 2026, C.S.T.
The auction winner will be notified by 5:00 PM on Friday, September 4th.
Payment is due by Friday, September 11th, at 1:00 PM.
Additional bidders may not receive notification of sale results until payment is made. Failure to provide payment within 5 business days of notification results in forfeiture of winnings.
Proof of insurance
All buyers must provide proof of liability insurance.
Removal Timeline
The proposed timeline for removal and transport must be included in the bidding package. This must include the planned number of days needed for removal, and the proposed two-week period for the work.
Home Removal is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY and must be scheduled within 7 business days of auction close. Contact information for scheduling: Christie Ketring at 325-657-7306 or [email protected].
All homes must be removed and off-site by October 31st, 2026.
Removal work cannot be started or extended over more than 2 weeks’ time. We reserve the right to charge a storage fee if the work is started and extends past two weeks or deadline at $100 per day.
All metal bolts, parts, pieces, and debris from the removal process must be cleaned up by the homeowner at the end of every day. Any lumber or metal debris left on site at the end of the removal process will trigger a $200 disposal fee.
Additional Details
The AgriLife Research properties can accommodate tractor-trailers. However, we will need to consider septic systems and drainage fields located adjacent to the trailer homes. These areas will be identified during the Open House.
Yard gates will lock at 5:00 PM on weekdays. Weekend access to the yard must be arranged in advance with the Research Center Manager.
Properties are locked after business hours; however, personal belongings left on site after hours are not the responsibility of Texas A&M AgriLife Research.
All utility hook ups will be disconnected by the seller. This includes water and septic piping and electrical disconnect from meter.
Bidders should verify the actual dimensions of all gates on the property that may need to be driven through during trailer removal. Seller is willing to accommodate the buyer’s preferred route for transport as long as it does not damage property infrastructure, including utilities, h-braces, septic systems, etc.

Please bring EXACT CHANGE if paying by cash. Texas A&M AgriLife Research will not be able to accept cash payments for auction purchases unless you have the correct amount.
Item removal

There will be no assistance available from Texas A&M AgriLife Research employees for removal and transportation of items won. Removal of items is the winning bidders’ responsibility. If items are not removed before October 31st, 2026, items will be added to a following auction. No Exceptions! Please present a copy of your paid receipt and a valid Government issued picture ID when picking up all items. Written authorization must be provided to the seller allowing a person other than the buyer named on the paid receipt to pick up items.
